The Office Administrator program is designed to train students in the latest computer software applications most prevalently used in a professional office environment. Advancing computer technology means rapid change for today's office professionals. Students must be skilled in the latest software, able to adapt to frequently updated versions, and able to apply computer capabilities to new applications.
In addition, this program provides training in general office management, including general office operations, structure and functions, problem solving relative to people, equipment and procedures, as well as accounting principles and processes, including accounts payable/accounts receivable, trial balances, journal entries, and payroll. Upon successful completion of the program, an optional four-to-six week, full-time placement can be arranged at the student's request.
